"If You See Something, Say Something®"

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) "If You See Something, Say Something®" program is a national campaign whose mission is to raise public awareness in two primary areas:

  • Recognizing signs that point to a potential connection to terrorism.
  • How to report suspicious activity to appropriate law enforcement authorities.

To accomplish this effort, DHS communicates through outreach materials and public service announcements, and builds partnerships with organizations in the private and public sector who help amplify the campaign’s message in their communities. The campaign works with these partners year-round to empower and educate the public on the importance of reporting suspicious activity.
