2021 Iowa Homeland Security Conference

The 2021 Iowa Homeland Security Conference took place October 13-15, 2021, at the FFA Enrichment Center in Ankeny.

This year’s conference was a hybrid event. Participants and speakers had the ability to attend in-person, virtually, or both. There was a variety of speakers chosen this year, and they shared their experiences and lessons learned from the Emergency Support Function (ESF) areas to include real-world events. Our conference planning team consisted of staff from the HazMat Task Force, Safeguard Iowa, and from the local emergency management field, who provided topics that appealed to a broad range of responders.
