About the 2025 Conference

The 2025 Iowa Homeland Security Conference is scheduled for Oct. 15-17 at the FFA Enrichment Center in Ankeny, Iowa. We are focusing on the upcoming response group, Emergency Support Functions (ESFs): 

• ESF-4 Firefighting
• ESF-9 Search & Rescue
• ESF-10 Hazmat
• ESF-13 Public Safety
• RSF-Cultural and Natural Affairs

The ESF / RSFs listed are areas that our county emergency management coordinators will be reporting on this next fiscal year to include real world events.  

Our conference provides an opportunity for emergency management coordinators, homeland security professionals, state agencies, elected officials, non-profit organizations, along with our public and private sector partners, to learn from each other in this ever-evolving field.

Conference Registration

NOTE: Registration opens July 1.

Terms & Conditions

Conference registration is $150.00 USD per person through October 17, 2025, and is payable by check or credit card. A full refund will be given for cancellations made on or before October 1, 2025, by contacting HSEM.

No refunds will be given for cancellations or no shows after October 1, 2025. Substitutions will be accepted for those attendees who are unable to attend. Please contact HSEM and send substitution information.

NOTE: Iowa HSEM is NOT responsible for individual reservations or cancellations.
